Aman at Sea: What the Amangati Fare Actually Includes

Aman has gone to sea. Not a charter — its own first ship, Amangati, sailing the Mediterranean from spring 2027.

What the fare includes, as far as food goes

Breakfast, lunch and dinner at Alira, the all-day restaurant
Daily in-suite breakfast, ordered in advance
Light bites around the ship, and handmade ice cream from the Gelateria
Non-alcoholic drinks and beer

So what is Alira?

Questions worth asking before you book

Children can sail from six months, but a child aged two or older needs a suite of their own
Dress code is Yacht Casual; no shorts at dinner
Fares are per suite — Aman’s wording is “per suite rate”
The ship is cashless, and gratuities are included in the fare

This is not a cruise ship with thousands of passengers: 183 meters long, 47 suites, and at most 94 guests. Designed by Sinot, built at the T. Mariotti yard in Genoa, launched in July 2026.

Sailings

The maiden voyage is May 7, 2027, Palma to Nice, six nights and seven ports. Two others stand out: May 13–21 overlaps the Cannes Film Festival, and June 2–7 lands on the Monaco Grand Prix. Payment is 25% at booking and the balance 150 days before departure.
