Why I recommend it to families
First, Chenot — the old name in European medical wellness, the deep-detox-and-sleep kind. There is a Chenot Espace on the resort, so no separate trip to Switzerland.
Second, the free and half-price dining for children. For a family of four staying a week, the difference is bigger than you would think.
Third, the villas have private pools, so nobody is fighting for loungers at the main pool with grandparents and kids in tow.
Getting there
The usual route is a connection in Europe to Tivat (TIV), then about 30 minutes by car, including a short and scenic ferry crossing. From Dubrovnik it is roughly an hour’s drive, so Croatia and Montenegro pair naturally in one trip. During the stay, give half a day to Perast and the old town of Kotor — half an hour by boat.
