Fairmont Kea Lani’s 35th-Anniversary Offer: Up to 35% Off, With a Catch Worth Understanding
Fairmont Kea Lani turns 35 this year, and it has put out what it calls its best offer of the year.
First, why this resort is different: it is Hawaii’s only all-suite and villa beachfront resort — there are no standard rooms. The smallest Fairmont Suite is 860 square feet (79 square meters), with a separate living room, a separate bedroom and a large lanai. The villa tier comes with a full kitchen.
Anyone traveling with children knows what that means: the kids go down and the adults can still talk in the living room, breakfast can be made in your own kitchen, and nobody is wedged into one hotel room. In Hawaii, at this price, that is rare — most of the competition is standard rooms.

Now the catch, which needs saying plainly: the offer is prepaid in full and non-refundable, and it cannot be combined with advisor benefits. It is one or the other.

So the math runs like this. The anniversary discount will very likely be worth more than the benefits themselves; the cost is that your money is locked the moment you pay. If your dates are set in stone, take the promotion. If anything might move, take the benefits rate. There is no universal right answer — it depends on how certain this trip is.
