On a beach holiday, would you give part of the day to the bedroom? Looking at the rooms at Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, my answer is yes. The bed faces a full wall of glass, with the Pacific beyond it. Going back to the room for a rest becomes something I would actually put in the plan.
Start with the warm wood tones and the artwork on the walls. Let your eye settle there before moving out to the sea and sky. What appeals to me is the invitation to stay put. You can leave the next stop undecided, or have nothing in particular to go out for.
Even the night has something to offer: moonlight on the floor. I tend to give the daytime photographs most of my attention when looking at hotels. This detail is a useful reminder that a holiday continues after the lights go off.

Rocks surround the private beach, giving the clear water the outline of a bay. Head there when you want to be closer to the ocean. For less movement, settle by the pool with coconut water. These plans take up very little space on paper. Giving them enough time is the luxurious part.
The meals make a stronger case for staying several nights. Breakfast brings handmade tortillas and local coffee in an ocean-view restaurant. I would make breakfast the morning’s main event. Eating quickly to get to the next activity feels like an odd use of that setting.
