How these benefits work

A booking at Shangri-La The Shard, London comes with benefits worth knowing before check-in. Any upgrade is confirmed on arrival, meaning it depends on what is unsold that day rather than being held in advance. Buffet breakfast is served daily for up to two guests per bedroom, in the restaurant. Is the rate at Shangri-La The Shard, London higher when you book through FlyBest?

No. The live rate comes from the hotel's own inventory; we add no mark-up and charge no service fee. Is the room upgrade at Shangri-La The Shard, London guaranteed?

No. The directory line reads “Upgrade on arrival, subject to availability Daily Buffet breakfast for up to two guests per bedroom, served in the restaurant”: the hotel arranges it from whatever is unsold that day, so it cannot be locked in beforehand and a particular room type cannot be promised. If the upgrade matters for this trip, say so when you book and we will put the request to the hotel.
